I made a backup of a DVD to an ULTRA DVD+R media. I played it on my basement DVD Player an towards the end of the movie it began to freeze an become choppy. I played part of end of the backup DVD on my PC and it was fine. I then had a thought an tried an experiment. I made a backup of the backup to the VERBATIM DVD+RW MEDIA. I then took this DVD+RW copy to my basement machine an it played fine. Anybody have any idea how this could happen.

Says there , that they're on lifetime guarantee ... so I'd suggest sending them back.
I usually trust Ritek G04 dye blank media myself , there is a variety to choose from -- RiData/Arita/Ritek
