Ok Gents and Ladies.I humbly request help from you all to help me solve this problem.Well, a few days ago, I burned the .dvd file of Burnout Paradise onto a DVD+R DL disc Verbatim brand as stated in the tutorial. The game came up a region code error when I attempted to play it on my xbox 360.All other games I had burned in the same way before this were able to be played properly. So, I came to this forum to look for clues and found Play-Asia and the Xbox-Sky region code compability list. After looking it through, i figured that my xbox 360 was a JPN region locked. To see if I was correct, I burned Dead or Alive 4, another none region free game, using the method above. My claim proved right or so i thought.Fast forward till today, my dad brought back a copy of Dead or Alive 4 from Indonesia. This copy was in English as i have just played it.Now, from the compability list, both US and PAL copies of the game should not work on my xbox 360 and judging from the spelling on my new copy, its US region coded. So, my question is...What is going on here?My first US copy did not work because of region lock but my 2nd US copy bought from Indonesia worked! So what is going on here?Is there any way of changing region codes of games?I really can't figure it out and plus I want to know what happened because i do not like to depend on others for my games.SO...there you have it.Please do help to figure this out for me and THANK YOU for understanding and taking time off to read this.

Sounds more likely that your copy of Dead or alive is ntsc-j and not -u. It should say under the esrb rating what region the game is. Also i'm not sure if this is a correlation or not but all my activision discs have a number on the bottom of the disclaimer that have a .US.

Also after looking at play-asia their is an asian verion listed that has english and chinese languages and is ntsc-j. if your console is default to english that is the language its going to use. So i would suggest only getting ntsc-j (japanese and asian games) or region free games. Just be sure to check before getting them as to not waste your time/money.
