Ahoy there,

Have recently moved from Dublin to Offaly and naturally my Starview 1 isnt picking anything up.

I am presuming that i need a new channel dump file. My location is Tullamore Offaly. Does anyone out there have one?

I have searched this site and googled everywhere but cant find one!

Thanks for the replies,

Hadmad - I loaded a channel dump for midlands Ireland, but this was for Starview box 2 and it didnt work. There was a signal coming in on the channels but nothing coming up. Some of them had the status of "updating", others of "Scrambled". Did get 1 channel in "Psychics live" or something like that!

Cactikid - not sure if is c^^^^s or n^l area - only moved recently. How would i find that out. Phoning UpeaC up and asking!?!?

Think so yeah, i loaded CryptStar-V1.5 firmware from http://www.4shared.com/dir/3042613/f6e3421c/sharing.html in the Starview section and it says it is the december 08 fix

if your not sure try putting keys manuley for ch first and then do a scan and see wath you get and then ntl if your not getting anything

it dose have the keys but you have to find the sing first and a good one at that you cant ask for keys on this site its not alowe just to put you wide ill get back to you in a bit out ion a job now wont be to long

well a bit of progress has been made here!

Still cant get anything on the auto scan, so I used the ireland midlands channel dump file that i got for Starview box 2.

This only gave me Disney channel with no sound. So i decided to do a manual scan with the frequency / symbol rate of that channel. By doing this i have got around 60 channels. The frequencies i used were...

322750 KhZ
426750
370750
397000
410750
348000
364000
418250
452000

all of these were on 64 qam and symbol rate 6875 (i'm presuming this is Chorus?). I'm only really interested in the sports channels. I have skysports1 and setantasports1 coming in on 364000 and 348000 respectively

Does anyone know the frequencies for the rest of the channels?

Have checked http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/540478 also but these are only for NTeaL Dublin
