Comcast has announced the launch of a new VOD service that will offer unlimited Disney Family Movies for $5.99 per month.
All Comcast cable subscribers now have access to the service, which offers 20 hours of content every month, 10 full feature length films and two short programs.

Comcast later determined that the VOD service was not worth the server maintenance cost, as only 23 people tried it, and out of those only 8 subscribed.
Turning to other news, two popular video sources made international tech headlines. Netflix again reported a revenue increase percentage in the double digits, and the notorious torrenttracker The Pirate Bay purchased several more servers with the equivalent of $50,000 won from the Big Four's lost lawsuit. These servers were added to accommodate an exponential increase in P2P activity.
