Hi There new nintendo wii owner here did the zelda hack soft mod and got homebrew ... Its just not for me the hassle of backups and not being able to get updates for some of my games... Does reformatting the wii eliminate the zelda hack and homebrew... I just wanna stick to store bought games thanks....

I knew the zelda hack was easy but also thought making backups games would be as easy as my xbox 360 but it's not lol... total noob too the wii hardware just dont have the time or paitence lol any help or answers would be very appreciated thanks...

To uninstall everything you will need to...

Zelda Hack = you will need to do nothing. This is just a exploit hack for Zelda so you can run boot.dol/boot.elf files. So it actually doesn't install anything.

Homebrew Channel = Delete the Homebrew Channel via Wii system memory under channels.

Use a cIOS uninstaller to uninstall any cIOS.

Uninstall any other application WAD files you might have installed through WAD Manager.
