I think all firmwares can be hacked now with a pandoras battery and a magic memory stick as long as it is a psp 1001 or a compatible psp 2000. so far the 3000 is the only one still unhackable with a pandora

You can see wich vers you have by seen the serial number in the psp, normally at the botton of your psp.

Also it depends on wich board you have, if you have psp board TA88v3 then it can not be downgraded, firmwares 4.1 and so on comes with boards TA88VX V1 and V2 can be downgraded
