I flashed my Xbox 360 that has a Liteon DG16D2S. THe flash went great but when I turn it on I get a blank screen. When I unplug the sata from the drive, it comes on with no problems. Does anyone know what I did wrong?

I read and dumped the driver twice, and I erased the driver twice but I still get a blank screen.

No. When I got done flashing the lite-on, I plugged everything back up normal to the driver. When I turned it on, I received a Black Screen. So I tried a few things:

1) I unplugged the xbox SATA cable from the drive, and left the power cable in. The xbox intro and menu show. It worked normally but with no driver.

2) I plugged a different SATA Cable into the xbox 360 drive. The xbox intro and menu show working normally, but when I put a disc into the tray, it doesn't read. It's as if the drive doesn't exist.

I have no idea to what went wrong. It read twice ok and flashed ok.

the important thing is you have your files from the drive backed up, so thats the good part, the bad part is, it looks like you have damaged the drive, when you have everything hooked up ie sata cable etc. to xbox, does the green light in the center of the ring flash constantly? if it does, it looks like you have bricked the drive.

check the power to the 360 dvd drive, you might have some grounding issue.I had a similar problem turned out that one of the contacts was loose as i removed one pin while flashing.

The green light comes on. The xbox 360 comes on normally like I said. I know what happened! IT was a bad read with the Liteon key extractor I got. This is what happened. I did an analyzation and found out this:

Right "dummy.bin" file - CORRECT
Find Inquiry - CORRECT
Find Identify - CORRECT
Find DVD-Key - CORRECT
Find DVD serial data - CORRECT
Find OPT serial data - ERROR
Find PCB serial data - ERROR

The OPT and PCB serial data was incorrect! This is why I got a black screen. Here's where I think I went worng:

1) Got a bad liteon key extractor from a company that isn't Xecuter (diygadget.com)

2)BETA and old Programs like jungle flash were incapable of detecting these error even after read several times.

The OPT and PCB serial data were incorrect! This is why I got a black screen. Here are the possibilities of what might have went wrong:

2)BETA and old Programs like jungle flash were incapable of detecting these errors even after read several times.

I believe the majority of people have this problem and don't know it. You need to use programs like Drive Serial Dummy.Bin Fixer or the new Jungle Flash to check your read before you erase.
