Hello,

I am using Anydvd and clone dvd(both up to date). I burn at 4X and once in a while I get a disc that when played in my home dvdplayer will freeze, if I shut the player off and start again the disc plays fine. Is this a problem with my player or is it the record speed what is the ideal speed. (my burner is a lite-on and my player is an LG dvd buner/player)

1. Post the specs (model number) for your burner.

2. Post the type of blank media most commonly used. Best if you run it through it through Dvd Identifier then copy and paste the information.

4x is not necessarily the best.
Download Nero cd/dvd speed and install.
http://www.cdspeed2000.com/download.html

Burn a disk at 4x and run a "disk quality" check using the tool,
and make a note of the errors. Then burn a disk at 12x.
rerun the tool and make a note of the errors.
Which one is better?

I had that drive. It was noisy and flimsy, rattled my whole tower at times. I had it for about 6 months when it started acting up. I trashed it. Worst drive I've ever owned.
