How do you charge the PSP batttery via USB?

I recall seeing a option in the recovery menu to enable USB charging on a lower cfw version.

I currently on the CFW 5.00 m33-4 and I no longer see that option. What do I need to do to charge my PSP batter via the USB cable?

the option is in the system settings but will only charge while your in the xmb and not while playing games, btw this was a feature added by sony not cfw if you have a slim anyway

if you have a phat you have to mod the usb port or make a usb cable that has he mini usb and ac adapter or just buy one
