Well I have the custom firmware but I didn't install it myself, so I'm not too familiar with all this. I did some searching and followed the steps on a couple guides but they didn't seem to work. I bought the psp from my friend and he was running games on it. The only difference between then and now is that I have gotten a memory stick. Sony Memory stick Pro Duo Magic Gate supported Mark two. It is brand new. Am I supposed to put any files on it? So far I made a folder in the root directory called ISO and put two cso files in it, but they don't show up. There is a umd game in the psp cause I heard it wont' work unless an actual umd psp game is in the psp. The select menu shows
cpu clock default
cpu clock game default
usb device memory stick
umd iso mode sony np9660
iso video mount none.

I select the games column and go to memory stick and it says no games available. In the config menu it has
skip sony logo enabled
hide corrupt icons disabled
autorun program disabled
umd mode currently sony np9660 no umd
fake region disabled
free umd region disabled
hard reset on homebrew disabled
use vshmenu enabled
xmb usb device memory stick.

advanced config both options disabled

I just got the memory stick from best buy so it should be working. A 4 gb. I can't think of what I'm doing wrong. Anyone have ideas?

EDIT: I reformatted the memory stick and reput the cso games on it and it is working now.
