Liteon firmware tutorial
I have wrote this short tutorial for people having problems with pc freezing when using jungle flasher and for anyone who is having problems with the new iprep software, when you may get a warning saying error dummy file does not exist, if you follow this tutorial everything should work fine
1. connect drive to pc using connectivity kit
2. open jungle flasher and id drive
3. eject 360 tray, close half way, connect probe, then press get key on jungle flasher
4. save files to folder and then again to the desktop
5. click firmwaretool32 tab, then press load from dumped files, add identify, inquiry, key files, press ok when asked save to desktop
6. click open target firmware and select ix15-liteon from firmware folder, press spoof source to target button, then save to file button, save file lite_cfw.bin to desktop. Close jungle flasher.
7. connect pen drive then open iprep.load sammy benq liteon firmwares, select proper sata controller, proper target drive, tick box?s format and make bootable & include batch files, then click start, when finished close iprep.
8. reboot pc from usb pen drive, run command (dlit 1234567 11223) with 360 probe attached and tray half open if you get warning dummy file does not exist, power off and boot back into windows
9. open pen drive browse to folder backups\1234567\11223, then replace files in folder with the one?s from desktop (dummy lite_cfw inquiry identify and key bin files) when done reboot to pen drive.
10. at prompt turn drive on and type ( flit 1234567 11223 ) follow on screen prompts id drive number, then when it asks what you want to do select ( w ) for write, when it asks for the firmware file name type ( lite_cfw.bin ) then press enter, the drive will be erased then the firmware flashed over to the drive. That?s it all done, happy gaming.
