Cant really burn 360 games help

hi is it possible im doing something stupid wrong burning 360 games because ive burned 7 discs now only 2 have worked flawlessly the other 5 work but a few minutes into playing them i get disc read errors
im using verbs so its not crappy discs thats the problem i burn with imgburn layer break, booktype is all right also, i scaned the discs that dont work properly with abgx360 and i get an unrecoverable read error checking the game crc, anyone know what that means?
all i can think of is my dvd drive is crapping out on me any one have any ideas what might be wrong??

Did you download these backups or make them yourself?

Are you running them though abgx360 before or after burning them?
What speed are you burning them at?

i ran the iso threw abgx b4 i burned its all perfect no problem
i get that error when scaning the burnt disc
burning them all at 2.4x
burned one at 1x also just to try it the game wasnt dectable in 360 at all

Thanks for the info, in my opinion your DVD burner might be crapping out. How old is it? Have you tried the games on another modded xbox?

yeh thats what i think its only about 5-6months old
i havent tryed the games on another modded xbox but i have gotten games from other people same discs im using and they all work perfect in my 360

give xbox backup creator a try. i used it for the longest time until it started to not like my burner, but every hardware/software setup is different so you might try that or even dvd decrypter or even clonecd

Yeah i would say the drive is going out. If you do get another DVD Burner I would recommend the Pioneer DVR-116D. You can get it on Newegg for about $25. I have had this for about 9 months and have no issues at all.

Yeah the 112 will work just fine, thats what I had before I got the 116.

yup the pioneer drive did the trick but now i have another problem gettin one red ring and an error e74 :( sigh.............i hate the xbox
