Hey everyone, just a few questions I'd like cleared up.
If I have a modded Xbox 360 and use Retail (original) games to play on LIVE will I run any chance of being banned? I know that it's a high risk using burnt games online but haven't heard too much about if it's possible to use Retail games on LIVE.
Another query, is it somehow safer to install a burnt game onto your xbox 360 and go on LIVE like that rather than using the CD itself? Or does it make absolutely no difference?
No one is really sure how MS checks for modded firmware, there is no 100% safe guarantee that you will no be banned. I have had no problems playing my backed up games online as of yet. I was banned on an older console before the iXtreme FW and all the stealth checks. Since that all my games are stealth checked before playing, I also do install them to the HDD as to give my laser a break. Installing them to the HDD is fine as long as they are stealthed properly, all installing them does is lets you run the game off the HDD, you still need the disc in the drive to play it. Hope this info helps.
it doesnt make a difference if you play burnt games on live, or retail on live. the console stores the information of all the games you play, offline or online, and once you connect to live it sends that information to MS, and will eventually lead you to a banning.

well its known that things are stored and then uploaded because of gamerscore/achievements. but im pretty sure that theres something else in the xbox like the black box of an airplane that remembers everything as well.
