I am running 3.4U and only play games in my region. Can I run the game update? It says it when I put the game in.

I thought the City Folk game had the 3.4 system update and it would overwrite previous patched 3.4 fixed files.

If you don't want to take the chance of messing it up you can always use this guide HERE and extract the IOS38-64-v3609.WAD from the City Folk game and install it using WAD Manager. Then WiiBrickBlock the game and reburn.

Well I can't remember for sure as I did the update a couple months ago, but I have a Wiikey 2 chip and it worked fine for me.

But i read that here in post #5
http://www.tehskeen.com/forums/showthread.php?p=45904 and in other threads on the net, and that it does add adds IOS38

So your right seeing he using homebrew and backup loader, probably best to follow your post.

My buddies asked for update and mine didn't and we are both on the 3.4 firmware. He ran it and had no issues. Both of us use the softmod.

Can he install WAD files still? It might not effect what you have already installed but it could effect instillation of newer WAD files.

My girlfriend plays animal crossing so I can confirm that the game contains 3.3, not 3.4. And I can still install wads.
