ya so i just burned a copy of tatsunoko vs capcom and i wanted to know before i play it and possibly brick or semi brick my wii.

You won't brick your wii by installing an update unless the update is from a different region than yours.

Make sure to use the Wii Brickblocker on your ISO images first.

Then you won't have to worry.

My Wii is on 3.3U (that is the October 23rd update). I have an original Tatsunoko vs Capcom (which means I haven't patched it in any way) and I've used both GeckoOS and the WiiGator 0.3 gamma to launch the game and its worked fine. Not even a hint of anything threatening or anything.

That being said I have never tried launching it using Rebooter.

Anytime I've used GeckoOS or WiiGator to launch a game it always goes directly to the screen that tells you about securing the Wii Remote etc.
