The giant e-tailer Amazon has announced the launch of a new PC game download store that should move the company into a battle for market share against RealNetworks, Big Fish Games, and PopCap. Yet another thing for Amazon to make revenue on, although its not necessarily bad, but it will be a long climb up a steep hill for them. Good luck.

Selling these games for 6.99 to 9.99 will definitely help because 19.99 was way too expensive for those types of games. Most are similar types like hidden object games, match 3 games or Diner Dash type games mostly.

i see Amazon bought Reflexive.com which still offers downloads from the reflexive website. Their prices just shot down to 9.99 also.
