article published on 4 February, 2009

The developer of the popular Quake game series, id Software, has released a closed beta of their newest prodigy, Quake Live. Well ID is just a engine builder now adays they sub out all the strenuous work, much like Epic those Epic still has map makers and designers for some strange reason... sorry UT3 fail, GOW.....fail....

D3 is the sign of the times the sign when things focused to much on graphics and no substance.

Rage dose look nice tho.

I think it will be pretty sweet to be able to play it out of the browser and have stats and a friend list. Like a big network game, if they do it right, and if it isn't very expensive, it is an OLD game after all. I wouldn't pay more than ten bucks for it.

Ahhh the good old days of playing Duke Nukem, Quake, and Tribes in networking classes... Nothing better than having someone stand up in the middle of class and yelling at you for fragging them.

Tell me about it for me great FPSs come to a end around the time of Clive Barker undying,Arx fatalis and yes Halo 1.

Everything past 02/03 is just so shallow its not funny....
