hi everyone im a newbie and i have a problem with joining xvid files to make 1 full movie...
there were other threads with this problem but i couldnt reply to them with this query since im a newbie...

the thing is i have LOTR and want to join all three cd-sized files to 1 movie.... i can open the movie in virtualdubmod but whn i play the file i dont hear any audio

i dont know wht the problem is and i can play the file in windows media player.... i have all the codecs installed.. so wht exactly is my problem?

by the way the video source is xvid and the audio source is AC3

try decompressing the audio to wav with virtualdub
that is probably the cause of the problem
