You only need brickblocker to remove updates from import games.

Wiiscrubber doesn't touch the updates, it just removes the junk data from the iso and makes it smaller.

Region frii completely converts the game to a different region, but from what I've heard it doesn't work anymore since it used trucha and thats been blocked ever since firmware 3.3.

Also, if you're using the backup loader or boot through gecko OS you dont need to use any of them since it will automatically block updates.

You only need to use brick blocker.

All wii scrubber does is make the iso compressible and sometimes it accidently strips out update but its not meant for that.

And region frii is to change the region of te disk although it really isn't all that reliable and it only works on certain games.

You can use WiiScrubber to extract the update data from the ISO.

But more then likely you meant how to disable the update not extract data from it.

If you did mean extract data from it or someone else wants that info then check out the Ultimate Sticky thread. There is a linked walk through on how to do this.

he specifically asked to take updates out from the iso , which is what he requested not block them. If he wanted to block them i would have recommended brick blocker.

Or you can you install starfall or preloader if you are on 3.2, both apps automatically disable updates (granted you enable the hacks).
