as says in title recieved the box from a mate (sv 2 the box genuine) was messed with before. he tried add new firm ware when it all kicked off in eire, think he aded new firmware not the logo file first. he said he has had a few attempts at flashin both logo and apli filrs with no luck,

ive tried flash on yhe logo to get it off blank screen.

tried turning it on after ive hit doenload at different stages but keep gettin failed message.

would a lot of attemps to flash with wrong firmware and the logo file in different orders knacker the box??

i dont know where i stand with it regards wat has been or not been attempted to be loaded on.

does it need to be jtagged ?/

would love to get it back from the deas lol ive maxed out my usual solutions and any ive tried from previous threads.

cheers

Have you tried 4.57 using Gtromloader 4.03? That should sort out the "on" problem with The Box.

It doesn't need to be jtagged. Persistence will pay off with 4.57 believe me just a matter of timing when to hit download and switch back on. The logo file is already on it so no need to load it again.

He probably used 8.02 when it was first released.
