I have peer guardian 2 beta 6b on my vista computer. it shows no blocked connections at all in the history window, and all lists are updated. is the program actually working on my computer?

If the enable button is showing it's NOT running.

If the DISABLE button is showing it is.

Are you actively torrenting?

If you are, just keep watching and I'm sure something will pop up.

PeerGuardian is list based. If no one on their list tries to contact you, you won't see anything.

Use the ipfilter in uTorrent. I never did get PG2 working right with Vista.

peerguardian is stubborn on vista. sometimes it'll start up right away, other times it's stubborn.

keep the task manager open and watch peerguardian. if it get's stuck in the 70k, stop it, and run it again until it uses little resources. applies to list updates too.

Another alternative is Block List Manager (it basically obtains IP lists and pops them out to a file that you input to Peer Guardian, don't know whether it works in Vista though
