I have a sony dvd recorder model # RDR-VXD655. I am trying to copy a recording that I copied from dish to my VIP 722DVR I am using dvd+RDL Vebatim disk It starts to record but after a while about 30 minutes it stops and discharges the disk. I can record with a dvd+r disk but not a dvd+rDL and I need the 8.5 gb.The disk I am trying to use is a 2.4Xdvd+RDL 8.5GB Verbatim . I have used memorex but that brand does the same thing . I wonder what I am doing wrong?
