Hello, I've been reading google sound systems guides and some of the posts on here but I still feel like I'm stranded out at sea with so many companies to buy from and no real idea where to start.
So I was wondering if anyone has any advice, I've got £300-400 to spend on a system. I've got a Panasonic SA-HT500 home theater sound system which I got about 4 years ago, I have it hooked up to my desktop PC via an AUX cable (not sure what they're actually called, the red and white one) and use it for music and films.
I mostly listen to classical music and would need a system that would run from my PC as all my music is MP3 format.
My question is trying to find out what my options are, is my budget enough to get a superior replacement and what should I look for when shopping around. Thank you in advance for any help or information.
