Hi all
i have a SV4 and just recently got a hitachi hdd to attach to it.
only thing is it doesn't recognise it, anyone have any problems with hdd's that they've come across and fixed ?
the drive comes ntfs and i re-formatted to fat32 and the only thing i can think of that might cause a problem is the hitachi runs on a 500mA current whreas the recomended is 100mA but i'd have thought it would at least recognise that there is a drive there before i came across any power problems
any help or advice would be appreciated
