I just purchased a Coolsat 8100, it is setup properly, as channels 100 & 500 are coming in. My problem is I am unable to open the loader to download the new bin. I tried the usb and followed the instructions, but reciever doesn't detect the bin. I just need basic instruction on how to do this. I have vista so I don't know if that could be the problem. Help...

When you say you tried the usb, are you saying a usb cable to a rs232? If so make sure you have installed the drivers for the cable.
