This is my first build and i'm running into problem. I hope you guys could help. its not much but only thing is there no image on my monitor.

This is what I got:

AMD Phenom 9550 CPU Quad-Core (2.20GHz) Processor
ECS GeForce6100PM-M2 Socket AM2+ with Video Motherboard
HITACHI 500 GB 7200 RPM SATA INTERNAL HARD DRIVE
LITE-ON 20X DVD±R DVD Burner Black SATA
ATX PC Mid Tower Case AMD with blue led and fans
OKIA 550w P4PS with 20/24pin PSU
2 X 2GB PC6400 DDR2 800mhz memory ram 240 pin (its High density tho)

I think i know prob know what my problem is, its my high density memory rams because my mobo is not compatible with high density rams. Im looking to get it replace with a low density one but prob gonna take a week.

But my questions is with the incompatiable memory, can my new build able to go to BIOS screen? or is it because of that, it wont sent signal to my monitor so thats why its blank? or is it a different problem thats there no signal to my monitor?

And what do you think of my new build?

I'll just be straight up and honest here, so please don't think I'm being rude, I think the build is dire. The CPU is really slow for a Quad core, but the main problem is the very low quality motherboard and dangerously low quality power supply. I'd replace those two ASAP. The system may well work fine if you do that.

I'd recommend an AMD chipset motherboard from Gigabyte, as they're proven solid performers, and a Corsair CX 400W Power supply - 400W is plenty.
