Once one of the most popular public torrent trackers in the United States, TorrentSpy now sits, defunct, after being ordered to pay a $110 million USD fine to the MPAA after losing a lawsuit to the trade group. Torrentspy purely got in trouble due to the second part of this statement they shouldn't have destroyed the servers if torrentspy knew they couldn't prove anything in the first place. The destroying of they servers caused them their downfall at that time.
