As the title suggests, I'm wondering if it's possible to continue to stream from my PC to my PS3 even if the PC is in Standby mode.

Granted, there's a very simple way to solve this question, but I don't have access to the TV (and by proxy the PS3) at the moment and am just curious if this is possible or not.

I started up a media server just to test it out and see how I like it, and thus far, it's fairly decent. If I CAN stream in Standby mode, then I might just use this media server and skip all the copy/pasting from PC to PS3. If not, though, I'll probably copy over all my pics and music and stuff to the PS3, since we're getting ready to wipe the PC, anyway. Clearing out the ol' Pentium 4. Yep, five, six years young and already we're brainwashing it... for, like, the fifth time.

Anyway. I can probably just as easily figure this out tomorrow, but... y'know. The effort n' all. Not sure if it's worth it.

:)
