i upgraded my phat psp to 5.00 m33-6 and it can't run any prx files. the sam was on my 3.71 m33. i go into the recovery mode and enable everything (irshellboot.prx; tweakdisplay.prx etc.) and they don't do anything...what is the prob?

try not to run too many plugins at once else you won't have anough memory to run them, things you can try is making sure the 3 plugin options under advanced>advanced configuration are enabled, formatting your flash0 and reset settings and possibly backing up your memory stick and formatting then copying everything back over and enabling one plugin at a time to test and troubleshoot as to why they are not loading.

The format of the VSH.txt, GAME.txt, and POPS.txt have changed since 3.71 m33... now the end of the location of the prx has a 1 or 0 to enable or disable...

Example:
ms0:/seplugins/plugin.prx 0

Check your VSH.txt GAME.txt and POPS.txt to see if they are formated correctly.

its something else causing them not to work as he said he goes into recovery and enabled them, so that would fix the format and add 1 to all his .txts but still they are not working so the problem lies somewhere else

yeah the prob weas that my plugin options were disabled, tnx ShaggyZE
