I just went out in bought a brand new Dragon Controller from Sams Club, and then Bought a my first wireless headset(Walmart). After chargeing the headset I sync it up to my xbox it read port 1, then when I turn my controller on it screws the headset up,it won't work.So I tried it the other way I turned the dragon controller on first, reads port 1 then turned on the headset and it goes to port 2.What is up with that?
So I did some googling and I found out, that on old launch controllers that some had this problem keeping in sync.So I wonder if these custom controllers are just rebuilt ones from Microsoft, and just rebuilt and sent to stores as a New custom controller.
And maybe someone can help me on this also the head set beeps all the time like it's going dead, like I said this is my first wireless headset I don't know much about them.Is there a way to shut that off or is it going dead, and I got a junk headset also?
Any input on what I should do.
PS.My reg controller's work sync fine with Wireless headset.
Huh I just got it to sync Here's How I did it.I Started up headset on quadrent 1,then started up my Dragon controller and of course started bliking 4 lights, then I removed the battery from controller, then I started up a older controller and the headset synced up to the old, then I shutdown the old controller then restarted up the Dragon controller then to my amazement it synced up.So I shut down the xbox started it up and all works great now.
they probablt just needed to be charged some more. sometimes when you buy items that need to be charged it can take 2-5 complete charge cycles before they will hold a charge. I got a battery from gamestop for the 360 wireless controllers and i charged it 5 times and everytime it said it was full charge and then the controller would die within 1 minute. after the 5th charge it started working great. so when these batteries are not charged for awhile they need to be charged a lot to get them to work again, if u look in manuals they usually say this and also if u store it for 6 months or more they say u shoul periodically take it out and charge it so it doesnt die comepletely and never come back to life. but a low battery would cause sync issues.
