My psp stucks while loading custom theme.....

Hi everyone, i have a slim psp with fw 5.00 m33-6 and i read some guides they say that to change the wave you need to replace some file in the flash0-vsh-resource folder.

i downloadeda wave from pspthemecentral.com but when i flashed and rebooted my psp, it just stucks at the "sony computer entertainement" screen.

P.S. this happens for all wave that i try

please help me out

chances are the guide is old and the waves aren't compatible with 5.00 so you may want to stick with simpler themes like .ctf and cxmb plugin instead of messing with flash0 and semi bricking your psp unless you have a mms and pandora battery then i guess you can mess it up as many times as you like.

i do have a magic memory stick as well a spare pandora battery so unbricking is not a problem

but can someone link me to tested waves icons etc that work on 5.00m33-6?

found a pack of 176 waves that should work on 5.00 and i'm testing now.

pretty sure the theme has to be set as classic and you can't use cxmb plugins with this.
just so you know make a backup of flash0:/vsh/resource/system_plugin_bg.rco and then copy the new wave system_plugin_bg.rco and overwrite.
