have you accessed the router's homepage? 360 must be set to automatically receive an network setting(ip, etc) and router has to be set to issue it an ip. You can tunnel into the router with a windows exlorer tab and the IP of the router, check one of your working computers for the "gateway". That is the ip of the router. Open windows explorer and type that ip in the address bar. Then type in the routers user name and password. Check to see if your router has a limit on how many dynamic ip's issues. Another suggestion is set the 360 to manual settings and copy every thing from one of your working pc's except the forth quadrant of the ip. So for example if your working pc is 123.123.123.1 then make your 360 123.123.123.2 for example. Dont' forget to copy the gatewya and dns. Then go back into your routers homepage and look for something called DMZ(de-militarized zone). If DMZ is available enter the exact IP you put into your 360's manual settings. This puts your xbox on the other side of your router's internal software firewall. Then ping your xbox from a connected pc. (open command promt (32 bit inside windows) then type ping 123.123.123.2(or whatever static ip you chose). You should see 4 requests and 4 replies within a few seconds. If it says "no reply" we go back to drawing board. If you see a reply, 4 of them, then go test "xbox live" connection from the 360 dashboard. If this works (the dmz thing) then you have to hide your "account settings" from the dashboard. Why? Because there is your personal info and possible credit card info attached to your console. Not stored on your console but identified by your consoles unique id. When a device is DMZ'd there is no protection from the outside world. I reccomend using the DMZ as a last resort just as a tool to see if we can get your 360 on the network. If it works you have verified all your hardware and we go back to your router to set the proper settings to issue an unused ip automatically when you boot your 360. Hope this helps!

maybe u should try hooking the 360 straight to the modem if possible and see if u can get connected. if not then something is def wrong

well the router isnt configured right. I have a linksys and it worked fine i didnt need to open my ports

when u tried to do those things did u make sure to reboot the modem afterwards to make sure all changes took effect. and it might be a good idea after u set it up to go back into it and see if the changes u made are still there after reboot. if they arent then it isnt taking the changes u are making for some reason

also when u configured a manual IP in the 360 did u check BOTH of your pc to make sure u didnt set the 360 to the same ip as the pc is already using. u said u had 2 pc on this network that is why i ask. if there is a conflict with 2 devices usning the same ip both or 1 of them will get kicked off basically.
