DVD problem help please

I backed up some movies all on the same kind of discs and some work on my dvd player and others don't. Can anyone help. They play on a friends player but not mine they play in my pc though.

My own experience with 'Ritek' printable disks, had the same outcome as you mentioned.

Consistently reliable standard blank DVDs are made by 'Verbatim' and 'Taiyo-Yuden'.
If the disks are burned using the likes of 'Imgburn', at a moderate speed, that's the best chance of getting a good disk.

The link includes a short tutorial on how to burn a DVD folder to disk.
