Ok, here is the scoop. I'm no noob at modding. I have installed CFW on quite a few PSP systems, but I have a problem with just one.
I just did a batch of psp for my friends and came across a 2001 series psp that, when trying to install CFW, doesn't comply. I put in the MMS and pandora battery and the screen is black. It cannot be the MMS or the Battery's fault because i have done multiple psp systems with them. What could the problem be?

Thanks in advance
~Zelera

is there an easy way of finding out what kind of motherboard there is? I read the sticky at the top of this forum but that seems kinda complicated and time consuming...

If you are sure your Pandora and MMS are ok, then this is 99.99% an unhackable motherboard.

The TA088v3 PSP's are shipped with official firmware 4.00 or later.
