there are alot of iso compressors that you can search for on google, they save space and i havent had any that played bad or noticably different from uncompressed so sure if you want to have more space and have a small memory stick go for it

do you have custom firmware for your psp? because if you have a modded psp with custom firmware its as easy as copy and paste to the ISO folder of the memory card and it really doesn't matter if its an iso or cso if you have custom firmware press select and change the iso driver to m33 driver and then they should show up and play fine as long as you can copy them from one location to the other, if it gives you an error then there is something wrong with your usb devices or you need to format the memory stick in your psp and try again, but the main thing to make sure of is what version of custom firmware you have and that you update to 5.00 m33-6

Stick to ISO files, they are a lot faster with loading and while playing. I had a CSO file of God of War and it lagged very bad so I converted it to ISO and the problem was solved. Just get a 4gb orginal Sony Pro Duo card and you're ready to go.

Sandisk sticks > Sony sticks. Fact. And use UMDGen 4 to convert iso to cso or cso to iso. A cso is smaller in size and for most games you won't notice a difference...except for a few large games like God of War, Smackdown, GTA,etc. Basically try every game as a cso since it saves you memory stick space and if you have issues with the game then just convert it to an iso.

CSO have long load times compared to ISO files, and sometimes they even make your game freezing.
