Looks like the whole thing was actually filmed outside in a forest. It doesn't even look like a video game. . Amazing. =)

Yes, its very worth it. I was in the the same boat as you. I didn't play the series till about 4-6 months ago prolly. I bought GOW1 used at gamestop b/c it was only 10 bucks and I heard a lot of good stuff about it. I wasnt expectign to like it that much b/c I was used to PS3 games but I obsolutely loved it. As so as I beat GOW1 I went and got a used copy of GOW2. Both are extremely fun.

Eh. Graphics and eye-candy can be great an' all, but I'm just hoping the gameplay will be as hectic as shown in the trailer... as well as functional. Granted, that was supposedly the case with the previous two games, but still. I hope the transition into HD doesn't screw God of War up like it did Ninja Gaiden.
...not that I'll be playing it anytime soon. GoW1 probably is pretty cheap now, but I'll wait 'til GoW2 gets down in price a bit, too, and then I'll just buy those two together and play 'em 'til GoW3 comes down in price a bit. It's foolproof!

to each his own. after playing the first two I was left wondering why I didnt pick these up on launch day. There was a period in my life where I stopped playing my PS2 and GH brought me back. Unfortunately, that was the time period when we were given GOW.
