PAL GC on NTSC Wii

i did some research but i couldnt find anything useful. i switched my pal wii on ntsc (using the region changer) in order to use an s video cable since it doesnt work with pal. now if i try to launch my pal ssbm the tv always loses the video signal. audio is still there. surprisingly yesterday it worked properly but now altough i havent changed any setting on my wii the tv loses the signal AGAIN. i use homebrew channel and gecko os to launch the game. i dont have a modchip
what can i do to get the game run with the video signal?
