The Incredible's--Angle Problems?

Hello, again!
The problem:
I am trying to back up The Incredible's (movie only). When I rip the entire disc, the movie plays fine (tested on my computer), but when I rip 'Angle 1--movie only', the movie skips certain scenes! The skips happen randomly, the first immediately after displaying the title "The Incredible's"--it skips a ~15 second long car chase scene.
What I've tried:
All programs. Well, maybe not everyone, but I've tried over 20. DVDFab, AnyDVD, DVD Shrink, FixVTS, VOBBlanker, etc, etc.
Last thoughts:
The disc is scratched quite a bit (which is why I'm backing it up). I don't think this is the culprit, since it plays correctly in my DVD player and my computer.
All I want is to rip the movie without error so I can convert it into a different file format (iPod ready).
PLEASE HELP ME! :(
I'm too lazy to ponder a witty signature at the moment. ;)

Hi,
try this
1) rip to HDD with dvdfabHD
2) process with fixvts
3) use dvd shrink to reauthor and do movie only, or alternately use vob blanker and blank out all except movie, then trancode with dvd shrink to iso/image format
4) burn iso with Imgburn
Hope this helps,
Jo

Thank you very much for your response. I will try that when I get home (I'm away on business, at the moment). I will update the thread when I have a result.
Again, thank you.

I tried. I failed. :(
Just to see if it was my disc, I borrowed a friend's copy and the problem is still there. I am fairly confident the problem is with the different angles, since it says it has 3 different angels on the disc, all over which are over 5gbs, so you know the different angles are mixed in.
All I want is to rip the movie. Just the movie without the 1-3 minute jumps. Has ANYONE accomplished this?

I tried ripping the movie only (Angle1) using DVDFab, without any further processing, and at least within the first 10 min. did not notice any errors with playback. No pauses or skips, played perfectly.
Have you changed any thing recently and do you have any trouble with other movies?

Really?
If I put the disc in DVDFab, rip the movie (angle1), it will play OK in DVDShrink. The problem comes when I play the VOB files themselves using VLC Media Player or similar programs (which play only the vob files).
The first skip right after it says "The Incredibles", when it's zooming in. Instead of going to the cop chase scene, it goes to him in the car (about a 2 minute skip).
Maybe you can test yours with a VLC-like program?
No, I have not noticed any other movies acting strange, only this one...
Thanks for your help, though. I appreciate it!

I use Media Player Classic as opposed to VLC. Many people here use VLC and have had great luck with it, I on the other hand, had quiet a few problems when I tried it. So I have stayed with MPC and it works great for me.

Bummer! What do you believe the problem is for me? I have tried two discs and both have the issue. :(

Have you tried a different player? Maybe this could eliminate the problem being with VLC.
You said that the full disk version ripped and played fine? Try ripping the full disk with DVDFab, run the files through FixVTS, and then open them in DVD Shrink and Re-Author to movie only, angle1. You may have already tried this, don't know.
