Hi im new on here and i have a really important question. How do i put a VOB file to AVI?..I recently bought a WDTV and a external TB Harddrive and im trying to back up all my old dvds i own to AVI.. Could someone please help me with a easy program or maybe a walk through..i would really appricate it alot.

Click on the word AutoGK.
The program has a guide.

Im really sorry...but i have read several different guides..and when i go to change the input and output in the beginning...it wont let me choose all the files so i can make 1 solid .avi how do i need to rip it in decrypter?..or do i need to use another program?..someone that uses this program often please help.

Simply choose the .ifo file that is associated with the main movie. That should load all of the corresponding .vob files.

do I need to rip the whole movie?...just the ifo files?...main movie plus ifos? Need more detail very very new to this program.

You can just rip the main movie to your HDD. Unless it is an episode disk...in which case the episodes may be split into separate title sets. Post back if that is the case as there is no need to cloudy the water if it is not needed. Anyway, once you have the movie ripped to your HDD, open AGK and in the Input selection go to the folder containing your movie and choose the .ifo file. Should be something like VTS_01_0.ifo. That will load all the .vob files in that title set and you should be good to go.

hey thank you alot..that worked and also when u rip a disk that has multiple shows on it..do they have the same .ifo file like just the main movie?

May have to wait for some input from some of the others, as I don't do very many episode disks. But I think that it may vary, you will just have to look at the files on the disk and see how it is set up. Some may be set as seperate title sets where each have their own .ifo files and associated .vob's or they mat be like some that I have done where they are included all in one title set as seperate chapters.
