I tried using the patches Edutz posted the links to. Even after he posted the corrected link for the ps3news to get the actual patch it still wanted me to jump through hoops or pay. After doing some searching, I finally found a site with a working patch.

just copy the above address into your address bar and the first patch which is "FFXII US", is the one you want. It is at the top of the page, can't miss it. I used the patcher that Edutz posted the second link to and it works great. Just make sure that after you patch you use winhiip to place it on your hard drive in mode 3.

Just for some info i am using HDloader version 0.8 and the memory card exploit to launch it. So far i have not had any issues with the FMV stuttering or anything else. I just used the one patch and it took care of every thing.
