Hi

I have extracted the key from my ite-on drive but when I tried the erase Windows froze. Now whenever I connect my drive to the PC the computer just freezes.
I am using a laptop with the correct Sata card connected to my PCIMIA port. I need to know how I can get MS DOS to run from a flash drive. I'm hoping that this will allow me to erase the Lite-on using L-O-Eras.exe and may avoid the Windows conflict. I dont want to install DOS to my pc drive as I am running XP and don't want to have to reinstall the whole system.

Any ideas??
Ps I have succesfully flashed a Hitachi and Benq using the same setup.

Thanks

use iprep. format your usb drive with that then just add the l-o-eras file to it and type in that command when you boot to your usb drive.
