For those ps3 users who arent lucky and got the new 80gig versions which have no ps2 compatibility. Do you happen to know if you can purchase god of war 1 and 2 on the ps3? I want to play those before I play part 3 and I am not planning on buying a ps2 to play those.

To be honest, you may as well buy a PS2... They're like, what, £35 these days? And you can pick up both GoW 1 and 2 for about £25 in total, so that's £60, which isn't hugely bad, considering you can sell them on again whenever you feel like it, or just keep the PS2 and get other games for it (There are still some good PS2 games out there, and they're all cheap these days).
