Please don't take offense, but if you're struggling to understand what to do with regard to installing cfw on your psp with the plethora of quality guides on this forum, it's probably not something you can undertake yourself.

You can buy ready made pandora's batteries and also mmms - maybe this would be better for you? Or just get somebody with the right kit to flash it for you?

Well first your psp should have been lower than firmware 3.90 when you first got your psp. If it was 4.01 or higher it cant be hacked. If it can be hacked then follow this video to create a pandora:

And this to create a MMS download this:

then put the MMS into your psp then the pandora while holding the L trigger.

I refuse to give up on this ill convert this psp if it kills me. Another question and i know i should be patient but i forgot to put it up on my last post. Is there certain types of battery that CANT be converted or do i need the right software for the pandora to work? Again dont mean to annoy.

You need to make sure you cut that wire properly remember you are cutting through metal so you cant be that delicate with it, but dont go too hard either. It took me three tries before it was actually cut.
