hi all i have downloaded a wiiiso a back up of one i own what i want to know is how was this shrunk from 4.37 down to just over 700mb
what program did they use and what method
if anyone can shed any light that would be great id love to shrink my collection down to this size
many thanks chris
I dont think theres a guide since its pretty self-explanatory. Start the program, select the iso you want to scrub, run it and wait while it generates an output. It will be something like 'Wii Sports(compress).iso'
Then rar the file with (compress) in the name. It will still be 4.37gigs until you rar it, then it will drop down to a much smaller size. How small it gets depends on the game. The final size could be anywhere from 300mb to 4gigs.

Ok just to be 100%, you mean I don´t need to unscrub it before burning?
Do you also know if there is any disadvantages with scrubbing games? Can there be any problems when playing or burning the game? Or are there just advantages with this method?
You definately dont need to unscrub the game, simply just pull the ISO out of the rar archive and burn with imgburn at 1x. All that the wii scrubber does is takes out 'dummy' files from the ISO that are not needed in the game, this does not affect game play. If you seem to get issues with some games then that could simply be a problem with the speed that your burning at and the type of media your using or even if your wii is soft or hard modded :)
