Okay here's my situation. I have a 36O with a Lite-on drive. I sucessfully extracted the key, I however I fried the drive and it won't eject. I have a Samusng T943 drive. Is there a tutorial on spoofing a Lite-on with this Samsung? My computer doesn't have a floppy nor does it boot from the usb.

this is indeed possible...
i suggest getting the latest version of 360 firmware toolbox via xbins, or whatever method you choose, and using it to spoof the firmware. if you are not familiar with the how to do it, just use the readme.instuctions with the program. most programs come with a text document or a link containing instructions on how to use it. as far as flashing is concerned, after the spoof you can use several methods, the easiest would prolly be jungleflasher or iprep.

If the only piece of information you have is the Key ... then NO, it won't work.
Quote: The Xbox 360 system is married to the specific DVD drive when it ships from the factory. Two parts in the DVD firmware is linking it to the 360, the first is the DVD encryption key, e.g. 9174C2D5905AE8B9ACB23CD116XXXXXX, and the second is the drive identity, e.g. PLDS DG-16D2S 74850CA0A1D608CG81881200VM1.
For any games to start at all the key stored in the NAND flash has to match the key in the firmware on DVD drive, else only DVD movies will play.
Earlier drives (Toshiba-Samsung, Hitachi-LG, and BenQ) had the same drive identification string, but the new Lite-On has an unique identifier per drive.

Just like in your other thread... this is the same situation.
You need 4 pieces of valuable information from your bricked Lite-ON drive.
Key
Inquiry
Identify
Serial Information
If you do not have that information from your ORIGINAL LITE-ON DRIVE ... The Lite-ON drive you just ordered is useless.
Swapping PCB boards in this situation will not work, since your original board is fried.
DO YOU HAVE THE KEY, INQUIRY, IDENTIFY, AND THE SERIAL INFORMATION?

Then what you will need to do is load that information into Jungle Flasher, or better, do you have a dummy.bin? You can just load the dummy.bin, and then on the target portion, load ix1.5. Click spoof source to target and save your firmware file. Go over to MTKflash tab and click l-o-eras. Power cycle when prompted. Then click write.
One thing you will need to verify is the serial information. Check mark the box Advanced view and click serial tab. If the majority of the information is FF's, you are going to have to hex edit infromation off of your original Lite-ON drive into the dummy.bin.
