Hi there,

I'm writing an article online about Gaming Vs Piracy and I'm trying to keep it a pretty open-viewed article. I'm not an angel when it comes to piracy and yet I know barely nothing about how and why people chose to mod their 360's and pirate games.

If anyone could reply to this thread with answers to the following questions I would really appreciate it :] No names will be mentioned in the article and I wont link to this site in any way.

1. What made you decide to mod your Xbox 360?

2. Do you worry about damaging the gaming industry by not paying for games legitimately?

3. How exactly have you modded your Xbox?

4. Have you ever been banned by Microsoft for modding your 360?

5. How do you avoid bans from Microsoft?

6. Would you openly recommend modding Xbox 360s to people?

**Not everyone who has a modded 360 is pirating games, there are people out there who have solely modded there boxes so that they can play backups of there purchased games, if you invest £40 into each game you purchase, wouldn't you want to protect your investment by having a backup of you game in case the disk was damaged.....
