Newbie needs help with PS1 games on CFW!

I'm using CFW 3.71 M33-4 & have been playing FF7 on it without trouble. I've downloaded Silent Hill & Liberty City & put them on my MS. They show up when I click X on for the Game/MS icon but when I start them the Silent Hill one shows the PS Sony Screen then goes black & nothing & the Liberty City one just goes black after its frozen on the PSP screen for a short while. WHat did I do wrong & how come I can't get FF7 to fire up now that is now a black screen after the Loading Screen?

the only thing i can say is to install popsloader. also theres a site which shows the games best pops firmware but i couldn't find it in history. anyways if you have a mms then you should already have a sepluggins folder, put the poploader folder in there and pops.prx. after that,before the acual game starts the pops should come up and there you go. also you can always change the pops firmware by holding R before game starts.
