Hi all, i've looked through a few guides but i'm still not sure what to do . I know you have heard it all before but please help.

I have an old PSP (model 1003) running OFW 3.80
what do i need to download and run downloaded games and homebrew.

1st you need custom firmware. check psp mod and firmware discussion which this is and around the bottom of page you will see a title titled "5.03ofw" my guide is easy to follow. but u may want to update to 5.03 first.btw in case your wondering, you 'need' a pandora battery. after you have cfw then create folder named iso around where psp,video,music is all at then put your cso file is iso folder,DONE

Can it be done without a pandora battery ?

no, you need a pandora battery, but its very easy, on my guide that i told you about around the bottom of this forum shows a pic of a easy area to cut thus making the pandora battery. u may want to use a soweing pin to scratch the area that you will see. also you need a magic memory stick.all u have to do is download pspgraderv008 and from computer connect psp to pc using usb cable and run pspgrader. then there you have it! just take out battery now and mem stick then insert mem stick, hold L then battery
