Is it possible to copy movies from an external hard drive to the drive of an xbox. I want to give a friend some avi's and was hoping to dump them on the internal 120 gb hard drive of the xbox instead of having to burn them onto discs.

stealth... not possible via the dashboard but why not with a pc connected to the hard drive? hmmm...you have tried?
edit- actually I must ask myself "where would I then access them via the dashboard?" I am not sitting in front of my xbox so I have no idea if there is even a place for saved movies..... maybe try a network drive and tversity or something like that?????

ok well yea it might be possible to take the xbox hdd and hook to the pc and somehow do it but i dont know how. I think that would be more trouble than putting on a cd tho.

its much easier to just us a USB flash drive to watch videos with. get a 4-8 gb stick and dont waste anymore discs
