Ok, so a friend want me to mod his phat psp. I have the slim version cfw installed. Now, for the phat, I want to know if my psp slim or the slim Pandora battery would be any use to create Pandora battery for the phat version and so i can install cfw into the phat? I'm trying to avoid hard modding on his phat battery. I wouldn't mind doing it own mine but since it's not mine..i don't want to mess it up. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If you alreay have a pandora battery why do you need to mod your friends battery to make another? Couldnt you just use the one you already have?

If it aint broke....mod it! ;)

I have the slim battery not the phat. Slim Pandora battery wouldn't fit or work on the phat would it?

you can use a psp slim pandora battery on a phat they just don't recommend u keeping it in for a long time, there are a lot of guides on how its done and a plastic tab you have to cut for the battery to fit in a phat

I've been following this thread as I have a phat running 4.05 fw and a slim with 5.0 cfw. I'd like to mod my phat but still unsure if I can use my slim battery as a pandora battery.

So reading all above I'm guessing my slim battery may work as a pandora battery?? Is that correct? All I need is the universal unbricker tool?

here are a few videos to show how its done.

you will need to plug in the ac adapter to you phat psp since a slim battery can't boot it on its own.
i've seen people place the slim battery in at a slant top first to get it to fit so you don't have to cut any tabs unless you want an easier fit, also wrapping some tape around the battery will make it fit more snug.

you may just need to make the mms right since you have the tool, download and try psp pandora deluxe in my signature and put in the magic memory stick then hold L trigger as you put in the battery

no its a windows application so all you need is a memory stick, psp and the offciail firmware files that are also in my signature so you don't need a modded psp for it
